What else can you do? Are restaurants in the hotels still open, or does the entire resort pretty much shut down at the same time? If the restaurants or lounges are open, at about what time do they close? I'm having a tough time finding operating hours for restaurants and other on property activities, so any help you have there would be great.

I know that Disney Dreams shows at 7pm, but how long do they let guests linger (typically) after closing? In the US parks, I normally stay for about an hour after closing to take photos. Is the same allowed in Paris?

Night photos are sort of my thing (example below), and I'd like to be able to do the same at DLRP!

All the hotel restaurants stay open until late 22.30-23.00.

All the hotels have bars so you could go and check them out - Santa Fe have the cheapest drinks and DLH has the dearest - There are some great cocktails :thumbsup2

Then you have several restaurants and bars in Disney Village that are open until 23.00-00.00 and some even later on the weekend.

There is also an cinema in DV with screens including an Imax - they show English language fims from time to time - at the moment they have Skyfall in English

You can linger a bit in the park and take photos as I've seen a couple of people on here who have done it - will go and try and find their TR for you

Your photo is beautiful :goodvibes

I'd imagine you can still be in the park until about 8pm.

As Carrie has already said, there are lots of restaurants/bars in the village and hotels that will be open until late.

The shops in the village also close late (2300?).

Next to the cinema there is an arcade that has some video games, pool tables and a mini-bowling alley. It's not that great but it should be open until late.

Good one :thumbsup2 Some of the shops are open until 00.00 even

There is also the Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show Dinner Show twice daily at 6:30pm and 9:30pm in the Disney Village (No performance on Wednesday and Thursdays).

DW and I like to go for meals once the park closes in one of the hotel resturants and then spend the night enjoying cocktails in the bars.

We definitely took our time leaving after Dreams a couple of weeks ago and that was after 10.30pm. Not one CM seemed a bit put out or surprised to see us browsing the shops on our way out of the parks.

I LOVE your nighttime photo! As others have said reataurants/bars in DV and hotels are open later - just take out an extra mortgage if you plan on drinking much in the hotels:crazy2: 3 beers and a glass of milk in HNY - around 24 euro:rolleyes2 :earseek:

Thank you all for the feedback, this is excellent!

We're staying in Sequoia Lodge and we don't mind walking, so any of the on-property hotels are viable options. I've read elsewhere that California Grill in Disneyland Hotel is a good restaurant, what other specific dining recommendations in the hotels would you make (for restaurants that will be open late)?

Thanks for the kind words on the photo! Some material for "Disney Parks After Dark" (I'm Tom Bricker) is actually one of the reasons we're heading to Disneyland Paris!

So do the shops stay open after park closing? If so, for about how long -- an extra hour?

All the hotels in DLP are very close to the parks.

The DLH is actually at the entrance to the parks after bag check so you should get some nice photos of the entrance and Fantasia Gardens in the dark after closing - you will be allowed in this area even though the park is closed.

Also you should be able to see over the park from the DLH - some windows from California Grill and Inventions look out over the park but also walk along the coridoor in the hotel after the restaurants - there are windows there which look towards the park.

3 of the hotels including SL are set round the lake which again can give some amazing night time photos. If its a nice evening its nice to just walk around the lake

As for eating I know you are familiar with DL as Ive seen you post photos over there so California Grill is similar to Napa Rose - the signature restaurant.
Inventions is a character buffet in DLH - expensive but a good range of food
Blue Lagoon is nicer than Blue Bayou in my opinion
You must try Walts on MainStreet - the entrance was modelled on the entrance of Club 33 (have you been lucky enough to eat there?)

The last 2 are of course in the parks so no good if you want to eat after the park closes

Thanks for the info. I was aware that DLH was very close to Main Street, but not that it was actually inside the bag check area. That's awesome that I'll be able to photograph this whole area as late as I want!

Regarding DLH restaurants and views into the park, do you by chance know what the restaurant is called that is next to Founder's Cup for "Castle Club" members? Even though we aren't staying at DLH, I think I'll be able to get into either or both of these locations to take photos looking down Main Street...I just need to know what the place is called so I can tell my Paris contact (if that makes any sense).

At this point, California Grill, Walt's, Blue Lagoon, and *probably* Inventions are all on our list of places to eat. We've been to Club 33 a few times, and when we hard Walt's was similar to it in design, that became the #1 restaurant on our list!

Thanks!

Sorry Ive no idea what the restaurant is called.

Inventions and California Grill are on 1st floor in the hotel (what you would class as 2nd floor) and above that is Castle Club. I know as part of castle club there is a lounge and there is the founders club on that floor as well (or possibly floor above) but I dont think this is a restaurant as such. I think it is only used on special occasions such as New Years Eve or by special guests I suppose who book a private meal. If I find it I'll let you know

Im looking forward to heading back to DL again in 3 weeks and tryng Carthay Circle restaurant for the first time and going back to Napa Rose

If your after good elevated night time shots of Main Street go to the DLH, next to the California Grill is the Fantasia Bar. Ask one of the CMs if they will let you out onto the balcony, if you ask nicley they will open the balcony doors for you if they are closed. You will get some lovely shots from there.

You can also get good shots from the stairs of Main Street Station.

For high shots over the parade book a window table at Walts on Main Street and the parade passes under the windows of the resturant.

^Excellent ideas, thank you both!

As far as the Castle Club "restaurant," it's probably just the lounge you mentioned. I know very little about Disneyland Paris, so I'm just picking up various tidbits that I read!

Am I correct to assume that the floors above (there are floors above, correct?) the Castle Club Lounge floor contain guest rooms?

I'm hoping that one of those rooms will be unoccupied and we'll be able to go up there. No clue if that will actually work out, but from my perspective, the higher up we can get, the better! And it's worth a shot to try!

I think that the Castle Club floor is only accessable by lift (you used to have to put your room key in it to be able to access these floors) but this might have changed now. If you ask at the reception desk or concierge in the day time when they are quite you might be able to be shown one the empty rooms or suites.

I highty recomend you take one of the walking tours that are available of the Disneyland Park or WDS which can be booked at City Hall. They last about two hours and are a fantastic way to see the park. The CM's who take you around are very knowledgeable guides.
