When the buena vista National counter is closed...

...at the time you want to drop off, what do you do? When I reserved my car it said that the counter would be closed and we should get "special drop off instructions" when we pick up the car. What are the special instructions? I ask because if it will be to drop off at the car care center, I'll just change my ressie to that up front because it was $3 cheaper anyway (I just figured it would be less convenient because we're coming from OKW which is closer to BV than CCC and for $3 it wasn't worth it to me.)

Pesonally, I would change the reservation. CCC has a shuttle that will be able to accomodate you both picking you up for your car and dropping you back at OKW after the rental is finished.
As to the special instructions, I don't know. But, I do know I want my car checked out totally before I drop it off and get the final receipt.

Typically, the special instructions relate to including the mileage on the outside of the rental return envelope located next to a drop box, along with fuel level, putting the keys inside and dropping it into a designated box. I've done that many times (and one very bad experience when Alamo called 3 days later looking for their car - don't worry, they sorted it out!)

You may also want to take digital photos of each side of the car, and turn on the date feature. That way if there is any dispute later re damage, you can submit the photos (although they are not final proof, they will support your side of the situation)

At the Dolphin I have turned it into the vallets. I haven't had a problem. I did tip them.
