When Target 90%

I decided to go this morning, glad I did! 90% off! Went to two stores and got $700 worth of stuff! Great day! Found a lot of hidden things..the games, the clean and something gift sets (forget the name), little girl hair accessories, lots of red box, tape, etc.!

Which stores on Long Island did you go to? I am about to run out and see what they have left!

Oh and keep an eye out for the Wilton cupcake taker! It was in the reg. aisle. Comes up $1.99!!

I went to Medford and Setauket. Medford really had nothing left and Setauket was getting really busy as I left.

Unfortunately DH is not so thrilled about me running out on a Sunday afternoon... which I really understand since we are about to embark on a 4 dozen cupcake cooking excursion for our twins birthday tomorrow.. I guess I'll just head to my closest store tomorrow - and hope it's that stores first day at 90%....

I'll hold onto that luck for tomorrow!

We went to our Maryland store this morning at about 8:30 am and everything was at 90%. We got about $260 worth of stuff. Yeah!

My husband works for Target in Philadelphia. The holiday stuff that is left will be at 90% off on Monday.

I was at my Target today in MD and everything was 90% off...and not much was left. But I did mangae to get some garland, ornaments, and the light hooks all for less than $5!!

It was 90% here in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Wrapping paper, boxed ornaments, lots of garland, stockings, etc. I had already picked up some things at 75% - wrapping paper and labels. Today I just picked up some plain green gift bags and bows - all $.09 each. We don't celebrate Xmas, so I ususally only get things that I know I will be using for gift giving vs. decorating my own home. If I did, I would have been in trouble and would have puchased way too much!!! I did pick up a cool Incredible Hulk glass ornament for $.69 vs. $6.99 ...we have family that does celebrate and we join them for tree triming every year. My kids always contribute some new decorations and my son will love putting this up on their tree!

An FYI - someone I chatted w/ at Target (a guest - not employee) said she'd called this AM and they told her it wasnt 90% yet, when it was. Also, there were signs at the front Xmas display that said "50%" and others in the back at 75% - and then the majority did say 90%, so always scan to be sure!

Yeah I always check to see if the signs are right or not. Already warned DS4 we had to go back to Target in the AM. sure hope they are 90% and it didn't do something random like change during the day.
I will be sure to check some of the clothes/pj's that I was looking at to see what they are scanning.

Amherst Target was 90% today but Niagara Falls is still 75% !! I think tomorrow is the day!

Golden Gate in Ohio was 75% but southgate was 90%!!! Some cards, random knick knacks, wrapping paper, bags, bows, ornaments and a cute tigger singing stuffy for $16!!

I got a BUNCH of paper at 75% friday that could be non holiday paper.. I think I have plenty for Bdays over the next 2 years!!!

Just got back from the Lakeland, FL Target and it was still 75%!! There were a couple of other people looking around wondering why it was still 75%. Knowing my luck it will change to 90% off in the middle of the day!

I did see them getting ready for the toy sale! Lots of toys in shopping carts and they were clearing one aisle for all of the sale toys........

DH went to Mechaniscville, VA store and still 75% he did say they had finally condensed. Yesterday it was spread out through out the entire Christmas area.

Do stores normally changes after 8 am like in the middle of the day?

Did he scan? I am shocked that it is still 75% off!! Dang it, maybe I should buy those Hannah Montana stockings no matter what today.

What do they mark the toys to? I know they've been 30% off for a while. There was a Littlest Pet Shop Advent calendar I wanted to get for my daughter that's still 30% off.

I have heard that the Target corporation has given stores some flexibility on things like 90 percent. Several years ago, at least two of my Targets never went to 90 percent -- they stopped at 75 percent and it went to salvage.

I'm beginning to think this is the plan in Columbus Ohio. Only one out of about seven stores here has gone to 90%. I stopped in this morning....still 75. I may just give up!

I just got back from our Target and they still are at 75% off. It looked like they are just packing up whats left and getting it off the floor. I was so disappointed that I got there at 8 for nothing!

Dawnbu40 Which Michigan location did you check? Chesterfield is still 75%, but Macomb did go 90%
