I know there is no guarantee, but is this generally what happens? Delta & Jetble RT fares for our dates from JFK have been identical (219/pp) and haven't changed. Even August flights are lower! So, is it probable SW flights will be released lower than 219 RT, or would I have to wait for a SW sale to sway the other airlines (again, I know they don't match fares)?

Not for PIT market, of course SW release of June/July rates was $148 pp each way too:rolleyes1 vs AT @ $99. Our friends out east in Philie had $49 rates out of the gate - so it all depends on where you are.

We're down $16 a tix; still hoping for another price drop or Ding:wizard:

good luck

I need flights for September too and I am hoping for a sale when SW releases their September dates. Last September I paid $105 rt pp each so I am not being impatient to book anything else right now at the $188 rate.

SW was sending out Orlando Dings for May and June for under $50 each way. The current airfare sales generally only go into summer.

So, my guess is that the fares will go down. The waiting is hard, I know. I'm trying to be patient. :)

I will probably wait out a ding..:thumbsup2

Last year we got DING's for September to fly any day for $49!!!!

That is what I am hoping for again. Seems like September is always cheap too fly.

I have finally earned a free flight with SW and so I can use it if I need too, but I may save it for later if we get a $49 flight!!:woohoo:

I figure we won't start getting dings for September till around July?? I will be watching!

we are going down for the free dining for 8 nights and I was wondering since we are leaving on a tuesday and coming home on Wednesday we will probably get a ding like we did last year. but with the unknown, I think i will book the internet $$ when it comes out and then get a credit if a ding comes up. we always fly sw, the airport is only about 20 minutes from home so its not too much of a hike.

I kind of feel doomed as our free DDP ends during Labor Day weekend. I would be totally shocked if we got decent airfare coming home (at least we already got a $99 fare to MCO--which is pretty good).
