We are staying at SSR and planning on going to MK for rope drop on Sun 12/15. When do you recommend getting to the bus stop? I don't know how long it takes to get to MK and we would like to arrive a good 30 min. early.

I guess it would depend on which area we are staying in too. What's the pick-up order?

I would not do anything less than an hour. The SSR buses start at the Grandstand section and wind their way through the resort.

Stop order is: Grandstand; Carousel; Paddock; Congress Park; Springs.

Buses usually take 10-15 minutes from GS to Springs, but can be longer if wheelchairs are encountered or several buses arrive at the same time. From Springs to MK takes 15-20 minutes. Buses should run no more than 20 minutes apart, but sometimes they can get unevenly spaced.

Net sum: allow 1 hour travel time. So if you want to arrive no later than 30 minutes before RD, start 90 minutes before.

Just left SSR. I was in the Grandstand section. I usually got out to the bus stop about 25 mins before I wanted to be at a park. From Grandstand to resort exit is about 12 mins, unless you run into ecv's or wheelchairs.
