I sail in 25 days......Does anyone know when I should be receiving my documents? I already picked 2 staterooms next to each other, so I do not anticipate an upgrade, just wondering when the "official" docs should be here? Melissa

we have NEVER received Doc's prior to thirty days out, we usually recieve them right about where you are now, but have receieved them as close as 9 days from sailing...
relax they will come in,. as for upgrades, the timeing of your documents has nothing to do with that, some people get upgrades at the port, some with their documents and MOST not at all... upgrades do not happen too often on DCL

Thank you for the answers. I am getting antsy!!! I just cruised 2 weeks ago and rather than throw my shorts back in the attic for another 4 mos I packed them right back in the suitcase. I have 8 people to pack for so I need to get an early start!!! I just hope everything still fits my kids.... Melissa

We just received our docs for our April 3, 2004 cruise. We have always got ours 4-5 weeks in advance. They could be delayed if you purchased Air thru Disney. We never let Disney book transfers or air, we book our own.

We received ours last Saturday (Feb. 21st) for our March 27th cruise. I was antsy as well and now that they are in hand (no, we didn't get an upgrade either, oh well) I am ready to start packing!!

Ok I booked air myself, we were originally going to drive with 8 people in our family, but I got a great deal thru spirit. Docs did not come today again. I booked my cruise thru cruises only and I have used them before and never had a problem. Well I will not get too worried for now. As it is, my teens are being big buttheads and I am wondering why I went thru the trouble to do this for them. One of them stated he would rather not go if I am going to insist he cut his hair ( he has a mowhawk). He's normally an easy going kid..that cut me deep. The oldest has always had issues. Well at least I don't HAVE to see them much if I don't want to on the cruise. I am not worried they will misbehave, just know they don't want to spend much time with the parents. Oh well.. must be a full moon....Melissa

Melissa -- I got my docs two weeks ago and we are on the same cruise. Just to be sure, I'd call your TA (cruises only??). On our first cruise we didn't get the docs until about two weeks before as Disney was having "printer" problems. There's a bit of writing to do especially for 8 people in the docs. Best to do complete all those forms before you head out on your trip and forget. Hope you get them soon :)

Make sure you are completely paid up or they wont print your documents. They raised port fees so check your resv.:wave2:

Our Docs arrived 9 days before our cruise!!!! If you do not have them by 14 days before I would start calling and pestering them..
another word about this is others that are on the same cruise as us got there docs weeks before us... and we have no idea why..

Pixie Mom~~ I cant wait until our countdown timer looks like your's does right now!!!:p

Have a great time!
Heidi

*patiently counting down the days til I get to do the doc dance*
