When should I get tickets, DME, something?

Not sure if this is the right board. We are leaving January 21 and I have not received anything from WDW. Booked thru AAA,......have DME, AKL reservations, Dining plan, upgraded premium park tickets????????????//when will I get something in my hand to show someone at WDW? thanks

We're leaving the 21st and I got my ME luggage tags, etc. last Friday, I think?

From what I understand, though, it's pretty common for them not to arrive until 10 days before you travel

We leave Jan 27, and we got our paperwork about 2 weeks ago, and I was told by ME that our luggage tags were mailed 12/29, so I expect them anyday now.

I'd be a little concerned about my paperwork not being there yet. Maybe call AAA and see if they can give you some info. And a call to DME wouldn't hurt either...they can tell you when the tags were shipped.

Your paperwork has to be mailed to your AAA agent first...then they give or mail it to you. We arrive at AKL the 22nd and our reservation confirmations we got back when we paid it off...at the 45 day out mark.

Our DME tags arrived to her yesterday and about 3 days before that (we needed two envelopes to hold them all).

I would call you agent and ask them if they have arrived and if not they need to check on them for you. Seems you should have gotten paperwork for your room reservation(s) quite some time ago to me.

We are also going Jan 21st, I received my MYW tickets about 3 days ago. I still have not received ME stuff though. I called Disney & they said to give it until Jan 11th, then call ME directly at 866-599-0951 & they could still Fed Ex the ME stuff.

Did you book thru AAA? I did & received my paperwork. I ask because I am wondering if I can call DME even though I booked thru AAA. I am concerned because my TA didn't add DME from the beginning. She added it a few weeks later, when I noticed it wasn't on my papers she sent after making a payment. I am nervous about not getting the tags. Nervous because, if DME doesn't go smoothly, I will never hear the end of it from DH (who is worried about it & thinks we should have used a car service).

We booked through AAA and did not do our DME right away. We bought our plane tickets about 2 weeks later and had her add it on then. Because our tickets were with Fly I and we had to get new plane tickets the flight info is incorrect...but as far as having the tags and such all is fine.

We bought our second set of tickets November 21, 2005 though...you would think oner a month would have been enough time to print the correct info...

As far as being able to call them...I have no idea. You would think once it is paid for and you are practically headed out the door you could call...hope someone has input for you on that.

My AAA agent called and left a message saying "that she got our stuff in and I should come on Tue. AM to pick it up and go over everything" Phew...we are leaving 1/21 and I was starting to worry that she really hadn't made our reservations at all Will she also have our DME passes or do they come from a separate location?? thanks

In twelve(12) days I will be AKL eating at Boma with DH, DS, DN and DN....

Chances are what she has is your DME. I'm surprised you hadn't received a confirmation earlier when you paid off your reservation. All Disney gives is a confirmation letter showing what you paid for. When it gets nearer to your trip they send the DME paperwork. I am leaving the 20th and I received my paperwork last week, so it would make sense that your TA was referring to your DME paperwork. She'll probably also give you a confirmation letter at that time.

I just got off the phone with DME...I got a wonderful lady who looked up my info without my ressie # (don't know it, as I booked thru AAA). She was able to find my DME info. Everything was correct. She said my info was sent to the printers on the 3rd and will probably be mailed out sometime this week. I believe it gets sent to the AAA office, so I probably won't receive it for another week or so.

I am relieved!
