When should I expect my deed and permanent DVC member cards?

Hi, I closed on a DVC contract (direct from Disney) on March 1st. Just wondering when I should be expecting to receive a) my deed and b) my permanent DVC membership card?

I signed contract in early Jan and I still don't have permant cards either. So do I have to call and request them?

Although I don't recall just how long the wait was for our permanent cards, we did received temporary cards quite quickly.

And, as far as the 11-month window is concerned, you don't need your cards to make reservations, only your name. We purchased additional points at a different resort yesterday, and our new contract was in the system today.

My permanent cards arrived about a week before the temporary ones were to expire. I called MS to find out about them and that is what they told me and low and behold they did come.

I don't remember about the deed, I think a month before my cards came.

We bought from Disney in Oct. and still have not recieved our permenant cards. I called ms and requested new ones which still have not arrived.

Thanks - My temp card expires May 6th - I guess I will expect my permanent card a week or so before that date.

I got my temporary cards with the paperwork. But now what ? I mean what happens will disney tell me when everythings final , should my guide have told me that already. I have my temp card and a set of ressies already but no idea when I'll actually own it.

I filled out my paperwork at Disney about 2 weeks ago and gave a 10% deposit.......I was given a Temp Card, along with a DVC canvas bag and a bunch of pins,buttons and stickers and other goodies..I still have not paid the balance which is due on April 15th...and I was already able to make June reservations....Thats without my permanent card or even paying them in full yet....the best part about buying at Disney when I did...beside the $8.00 point discount was they gave me year 2005 points with no 2005 maint fees, Disney paid closing costs and my 2006 points come in Oct. So once you get your DVC number you can start making reservations......

No news is good news - essentially. If there is a problem with your paperwork they will call you and have you resolve it, pay more deposit or whatever.

You will receive a notice saying that everything is final but you can call quality control about 5 business days AFTER they recieve your paperwork and they can tell you if you have been approved.

Signed up on Feb 8, 2006 and got my cards March 25. Deed comes about 90 days later.

Yo, I don't think anybody on this thread has gone through ROFR. They all seem to have purchased directly through Disney. You might want to check some of the resale threads about how long it takes to get into the system.

Boston, your estimated closing date is listed on page 1 of your Purchase Agreement.

Thanks everyone , I do have a copy of the purchase agreement and since I read the complete paperwork I signed and sent to Disney I thought it was exactly the same but lo and behold it does have additional info on it like my closing date is May 15 , 2006 hmmm well I know now thanks
