when should i call dde?

our trip is at the end of may. i ordered in the middle of february, got the email (now expired) and still haven't gotten my card. i know they are busy, but should it be taking this long???
 
I was in the same situation, so I called them and they e-mailed me a new letter that expires May 31. Apparently they are FAR behind in getting the ID cards out.

we ordered ours in mid Feb. and still haven't received them.
Just sent an email to Rosa at DDE and got this response;

"Your names have been sent to the printer and you should be getting your cards in the next 2 weeks if not sooner. Rosa"

so hopefully yours will be similiar?
 

We ordered ours Feb 7th, still don't have them, we have an email from them, and my wife called back today(because we still haven't been charged either), they said possibly another 2 weeks(we leave on the 22nd), but they told us the email is fine, and we can also go to Guest Relations at epcot and get a temporary card.

Yup, same here. I'm actually a bit irritated they haven't charged me yet - I put it on my debit card a month ago so I have no idea when it's actually going to be charged. Not a big deal on a regular credit card, but when it's tied to your checking account it would be nice to be able to balance it out properly.

I'm shocked people who ordered at the begining of February still haven't gotten taken care of - what can be the hold up? Are they engraving the cards out of stone, LOL? I ordered in mid-march and hoped to have them for my trip in mid-May.

I'd like to call and ask them if there is any way to make the charge now, but I'm afraid then they'd end up charging me twice...a minor issue, but highly unusual for Disney (who charges most things instantly - when I call CRO the charge shows up on my account before I even am off the phone - I've checked before).

I was told today that I should have my Temp cards and letter by time I go to WDW in June.
 
I ordered my card 3/18 and just got charged Monday. We don't go til mid-June, so I'm hopeful I'll receive my card in time. ;-)
