When should I buy new ones

Save the holey underwear for your trip. Pack them and then when you are done, toss them out (at the hotel). Less dirty laundry to contend with when you get home and perhaps a bit more room in your suitcase for a souvenir or two! .................P

I do this all the time on vacation.

- "These socks are kinda worn out, i'll bring them on vacation and leave them behind"
- "This toothbrush is getting pretty frayed....bring it on vacation..."
- "This deodorant only has a few uses left..."

etc etc. My wife thinks i'm weird.

I'm trying to save for my Disney World trip and I don't want to buy anything new. How many holes are too many before underwear need to be thrown in the garbage?

My hubby says as long as the band is still around his waist they are wearable!

well in that case if they are holy they should not be thrown out. i don't know how they would reach such a state, must be the water they are being washed in.
