When Should I Book?

We went to the Beach Club last summer (end of July) with, if I remember correctly, a 30% off room-only GP discount. I don't think I booked this until after the discounts were released. For other trips, I've booked and then applied a new discount later on. This year, I have an AP, although those discounts don't look that different from the GP discounts, just released a bit earlier.

If I book a room-only now, will I definitely be able to apply the AP rate to that room?

Just curious. :goodvibes

Not necessarily. AP discounts work the same way as GP discounts in that there has to be availability at the resort you want and having a reservation already in place does not guarantee a discount can be applied. If an AP discount comes out for your dates and resort, then yes, it can be applied. But if the resort/room type you have booked doesn't have availability under that discount, then no, it can't be applied. You may have to be flexible with your resort in order to take advantage of a discount. HTH :).
