When should I book transport?

I just booked my trip a few weeks ago, but haven't booked my airfare or car rental. I'm a Disney club member and I plan on joining national's emerald club. How far in advance should I book my rental car and what type of car should I ask for? This is my honeymoon trip so it will just be me and my husband. Thanks for your help.

It really depends upon which months you are travelling. You can always book the car now and watch rates carefully. If they drop, make a new ressie and cancel old. You can apply on line for the DC fee waived EC. You will get your number in minutes and can book a car. As for airfare, again, the time of travel will tell that.
