We are going to WDW on Dec 9 to 15th. I have never traveled around that time of year and I was wondering when is the best time to book my airfare? I live in Tulsa, and we don't seeem to get very good deals (Like $49 to $75 on one way tic) and we don't have Jetblue or Spirit. I booked tickets for our trip 6/1 to 6/9 around the first week of Feb (cost was $970. for 3 rndtrip including tax and etc) now the same tickets are $424 apiece plus taxes.

Any help or suggestions would be gladly appreciated!!!!!!

Yes ...there are flights from 339 PP RT on Northwest and Contential...and almost all other carriers are under 450.

My June flight is with American Airlines. When I booked these tickets I got them for $266 per person plus tax and etc. Like I said in my earlier post, the same flight now is $424. plus tax and etc. I sure am glad I booked my June flight when I did because the prices just seem to keep going up and up, now if I can just get Dec. taken care of.

Well, you never know when a fare war could break out.

Never the less, we booked our December flight, and it's only gone up since then. Since we got a rate that was much lower than the one we got last year, we're happy with it.

Are you going during Christmas travel times? If so...book asap! The rates will only go up for those dates from my experience.

I am going Dec. 19-28, and have found that SW, airtran, and allegiant air have not released any dates past November so I am holding out for them.
