When returning a rental car to MCO......

Do you have to drop it off at the same side (A vs B) that you picked it up from?

Also- if dropping off on the B side to catch the ME to the resort, is it a long haul down to the ME station?
I am ondering if 1 person and bags should be dropped off at the ME station, THEN go and return the car.

No, you can drop the car off at either side. I don't think it would be too far to walk. It's right inside the terminal across from the garage where you will drop off the car.

You can pick either side. We just picked the side that our airline flies out of. The walk isn't far at all...literally just across from where the DME buses drop you (at least on the B side of the terminal). I'd say we maybe walked 50 feet further than we would have had DME dropped us off. There was a porter waiting right there to help us with our luggage, too. It was really easy.
