When renting DVC points, housekeeping or not?

i will be renting a dvc studio at The BoardWalk next May and am just curious if many pay for daily housekeeping or just use the daily trash service/towel service. For the studio it will be $30 a day +tip and I am on the fence. It seems like a lot of money, but I do love coming back to a fresh room every night.

I've stayed for two weeks at a time (2-3 different resorts) and never paid for the added housekeeping. Trash & towel pick-up is fine (they really don't have the towel pick-up daily, just the trash one for security reasons). If I want cleaner towels, I will take them to the laundry room and wash them

I've never felt the need to pay for the extra housekeeping, even for the 10-night trip a couple years ago.

I don't clean my house every day (or even make my bed every day lol) so having no housekeeping as DVC memebrs totally works for us.

You will NOT get daily towel exchange, toiletries,coffee/ tea replenished, beds made, bathroom cleaned etc. with a DVC Rental. For a 7 night or less rental you will have “ Trash & Tidy” on day 4. Towels will be replaced and supplies replenished. Beds not changed, room not cleaned etc.
we have never paid for extr cleaning but it is up to you.

Yes, though I believe trash is picked up daily now with the new room checks. I was mistaken about the towel service, I thought it was the same schedule as the new trash pickup.

Correct. Trash is ( supposed to be) daily. Towels, etc. are not.

If you want fresh towels you can purchase a towel pack for $6. Four bath towels, two hand towels, four face cloths and a tub mat.
