Ok, so we are going to WDW and bringing our parents. We will be doing all of our table services together. Instead of doing two separate bills, can we just take 4 credits off of our card one night, then 4 off of their card the next night? Or since we only have 2 people in our rooms will they only take off two credits? I just thought it might be easier than asking fro two different bills each time.

You need to take it off the seperate cards. They won't let you redeem more than 2 meals per card, at a time. But it's really not so bad, the servers are quite used to it.

You really want to make sure to keep it separate. I have read more then one comment here stating that when traveling with a large group that at restaurant A they may not pay attention to the card and take the 4 meals off, however people have run into the situation at the next meal where the restaurant tries to enforce the rule and one room does not have enough and the other has credits that they do not want to take. To avoid the possible frustation, I would keep it separate. Plus that allows each of you to tip based on your portion on your room if you want and not worry that the meal you paid for was expensive and the meal they paid for was cheaper.

I don't believe you'll need to do separate checks, they'll just take the appropriate number of credits from each card.

We were there in August and had two seperate rooms. We just ran out the credits on one card and then switched to the other. We had no problems.
