What are your best "it's raining" strategies for EPCOT?

Also, at MGM, Does the cover over Beauty and the Beast protect you from rain?

Put on your poncho and keep moving right along - rain doesn't stop us.

It will affect Test Track though.

We love it when it rains at Epcot. You can run from ride to ride and the wait times plummet. A little tip: we all know about the Mickey ponchos (about $6) that are sold at every Disney shop. Well, they also sell collaspible Mickey umbrellas ($9) that are alot easier to work with when not outside. They keep them under the counter like the ponchos. I never knew what to do with my soaking poncho once inside on a ride. We buy the umbrellas every time it rains. Really, we have about 18 of them at home, and always seem to forget them when we travel to WDW! We're always stopped in the parks and asked where we got them by people who had no idea you could get them in every shop as well.

How crowded do the inside attractions (like innoventions and the pavilions) get?

They get busy, but typically, it's just people hovering around the entrances and exits waiting for the rain to let up.

Put on your super cool Mickey poncho and keep on going! It's Disney~!

If you really feel the need to be inside when it's raining, go to Innoventions East/West or shop...there's always something inside to do too....

I'm going to have to look for those umbrellas! A dozen trips & I'm still relying on the Poncho!

We put on our rain ear & keep going usually. Most of the stuff is indoors in FW anyways & there are sevral indoor attractions in WS - plenty to keep us out of foul weather.

Yes, the Beauty and the Beast show at MGM offers protection from the rain - but stay away from the edges.

Dollar Tree sells umbrellas that are GREAT for WDW. They fold up very small and since they are only a dollar, who cares if it breaks or if it gets lost! Of course, they don't have Mickey on them, but you can't beat the price.
