When is your Spring Break?

We are planning a trip in March 2025 and trying to decide which week! I know that Spring Break tends to vary by state/district so thought I would do an informal poll about when your district is off for Spring Break! All answers are appreciated

Don't forget college spring breaks, March is when most occur. Breaks in New England (not college) are generally right around President's Day and Patriots Day. Usually week of or week after, so February and April, generally no public school spring breaks in March.

Around here it's usually tied to Easter - before or right after.

Daughter's first year of college. Spring Break will be week of March 10th. Throughout her school years, Spring break was week leading up to Easter (returning to school after Easter Sunday).

This is us too (also in Ontario) but we get two weeks because our kids are in private school. Trying to decide which week will be less busy! It seems most Florida counties are not off during this time period!

I’m in NJ and our 2 school districts do not have school:

April 12-22

April 18-28

One gets the week before Easter, the other gets the week after.

Neither have a week break between this one and Christmas.

College and public schools are normally different weeks in March.
In my district, it is Masters week.
In HHI, their spring break is Heritage week.

Just what I have noticed for COLLEGES near me in New England, the week of St. Patrick's Day in March seems to be spring break. As others have said, for regular K-12 in New England, we have February vacation around President's Day week and again for Easter in April, unless it happens to fall in late March some years.

In Tampa Bay/Florida it was the second full week of March but I know in 2025 it's the third week. Not sure if that's because USF pushed it to the third week and the school districts followed or what.

Middle Tennessee: public school in this county are off the week of March 10, 2025. Checked a couple of colleges, and they are also off that week, but a couple of other colleges around here are off the week of March 17, 2025.
We did spring break this past 2024, first time in many, many years, and it was crazy busy, and warmer than I expected.

Middle TN, ours is 3/9 to 3/15. Its one of the earlier counties in the area, most are later, I think the rest mainly fall last week of March first week of April.

Williamson, right down the road! We have a senior, so this should be the last year we'll be fretting over the school calendar. Well, except for college....but they seem to get off a lot longer!

NC tends to do the week before Easter though it can differ in some school systems. My kids are in year round school; so it depends on which track a family is on. Each track has some time in either late Feb, March or April.

We went first week out of school which was Memorial Day week, other than Memorial Day wasn’t too bad. I saw lots of reports that spring break for both of us this year was crazy busy then the next week was pretty light. We went spring break 22 and 23 and wasn’t too bad. Going last week of may again this year.

SE PA - (Philadelphia suburbs) - Spring Break falls on the same week as Easter here, so in 2025 it would be 4/14 through 4/21, returning to school the Tuesday after the holiday. Sometimes it is dependent on the number of snow days used, but that has been mostly a non-issue the past few years.

Well I would take both weeks and enjoy..or leave and return mid week of bith..cheaper flights on tue wed...same crowds.
