When is your April Easter Holiday?

we are doing on easter monday until the thurs so here's hoping it will not be too bad

Speaking for myself, I wouldn't go for Easter weekend, as I'd expect that to be the busiest time. I'd wait until the April holidays if our school had them, or if I were going during our school holidays, the last week, midweek (ie just after Easter Monday).

Not sure about Easter, as we are already going then anyway, and it wasn't the cheap option! However, I worked out yesterday that we could go for 3 nights, at the end of June, for £130! This was staying at the Etap hotel at Val D'Europe, with flights covered by Air Miles, and we already have our APs. Is that the sort of price you had in mind?

sounds good to me, but i don't have air miles or APs really depressed about it, i keep checking different dates and for eurostar and cheyenne but the ceapest i can find is £600! sigh, maybe i should think about buyin shares does that still get you discount?

We are booked from 27th march to 1st april and in peterborough the easter hols is 20th march to 7th april so its looks like we will benefit from not having the whole of the uk on the same 2 week break ,hopefully won`t be as crowded!

Essex schools break up on 28th March and go back on 14th April.

However we are taking them out of school and going on 12th March for 3 nights.

We went in April last year, it was very hot during the day, & cooler in the evenings & first thing in the morning.

If you're interested into going to DLP, in France we have 3 periods of holidays depending on where you live.

in 2008 these are :
1/3 from April 5 to april 20, others from apr 13 to apr 27, Paris april 20 to mai 4. More or less all april but for the 1st week!

thanks for that useful info! I'm worried it may be busy when we go now, but at least the uk isn't off all at the same time this year, at least the locality of paris wont be off when we go though, thanks again!
