I saw something that said you must cancel an adr no later than 24 hours out is that correct?

What happens if on the current touring day something great comes open, and you already have an adr somewhere else?

"If on the current touring day something great comes open and you already have an adr somewhere else" you will pay $10/person no show or cancellation fee if you do not go to your ADR. This is the exact behavior the fee was put in place to try to stop. It's up to you.
You can cancel up to 11:59 PM the night before your ADR.

I read another post on here a while ago that suggested not cancelling but changing your unwanted ADR to another day and then cancelling it 24 hours before the new date/time to stop you from being charged the cancellation fee. Genius idea I thought, but I haven't tried it personally but may need it in December.

Yep. I read the same thing. Haven't tried it. But it would be cool if it works.

My husband felt ill 3 hours before our ADR at Whispering canyon. A CM overheard me telling my husband when will get charged if I cancel. The CM at CSR canceled it for me and we were not charged.

I've had mine cancelled by a CM before the day of due to bad weather, but you have until midnight the day before to change.

I have canceled within the 24 hour window - when I called, the cast member at DD 'suggested' I change it to another day instead. No Problem! I've also done it in MDE with no problems.

We had ADR for San Angel, but I had a migraine hitting so we went up a little over an hour before our time and explained the situation and asked to cancel. No fee was charged.
