Someone on slick deals says there is one either starting on 30 th or tonight? I actually got to try to get a BOC once, then it sold out.. At least I got to see one!
It is a box that contains random items. Some people get the same things, others get different things.
A few lucky folks get a pallet of stuff, or something like a flat screen tv, or other high-name electronic items.
I got a BOC a few months ago. Mine contained : A light up snowman speaker that you can plug your ipod into (very cool), a box of Disney video recorder picture discs, and some other items - can't remember. The only thing I ended up keeping is the snowman, and since is is the holiday season, he has a place of honor in the front room. He is currently our only holiday cheer, as I do not plan on putting up the Christmas tree until the 11th.
LOL = Laugh out loud
I don't need to do anymore shopping, but I do love a WootOff!
I got a newsletter tonight, which usually happens right before a woot-off and they said "There's a lot going on at Woot this week" so I would expect one tonight or tomorrow night.
I've gotten a few BOC, one included a roomba. The battery didn't charge and so I contacted Roomba and got a replacement for free.
Woot usually sells one item in each of five categories each day at lower than normal prices. Selections change at midnight Central.
In a WootOff, in up to three of the categories, as each item sells out it's replaced by another item. Some merchandise is new, some refurbished. At some brief point, they generally offer the elusive BoC .
Site is Woot.com - and since typically there's a WootOff once a month and there hasn't been one in November yet, I'd have to agree there's one starting in just a couple of hours. By the way it can run a day or two - but you can tell it's about to end when they offer The Flying Sock Monkey!
Woot-Off has begun!!! Starting with a Phillips remote control at $2.99 as the Woot, a 4-pack of Scott Harvey wine in Wine Woot, and a Best-Lock 500 piece fire crew in Kids Woot!!!!
Not the slightest idea. It's entirely random - you just need to be in the right place at the right time. It helps if you register now so you can just click "I want one" when it comes up.
The last 5 or 6 woot offs have had the boc somewhere between 4 and 6 pm eastern time. More specifically it's been the second day (i.e. not today but tomorrow) most of the woot offs. However that's more likely to vary - I can't remember if it was last one or September they had a very short woot off. Just depends how much junk and extras they need to get rid of.
Now the BOC costs $3.00 plus $5 shipping. It used to be $1 per C(rap) and you could order 3 at a time. But everyone obviously ordered three so it was slamming the servers even more. Now you get 3 C's in an order automatically for $3.00 - saves a step for ordering.
