I know, I know, anytime, right?:thumbsup2 But if you can go any week during the year, and you want low crowds and nice weather (nice enough to swim in the pool at the Grand Calif. hotel) when would you go?
We have been to DLR in early Dec. a few years ago, so while we loved the holiday decor, we don't necessarily need to go back for that reason. We're also hoping to hit legoland, seaworld and a day of playing on the beach (not swimming, heard the water was cold most of the time). TIA!

Sept. or Oct. Once Labor day is over most of the tourists start to leave and local kids go back to school. It's still plenty warm (or hot) enough to swim. We have some of our nicest days in Oct. Even November can be warm, thanks to the Santa Anas. Once Halloweentime starts the parks will start to get more crowded. So, if I was to pick a week, I would pick the 2nd or 3rd week in Sept. :goodvibes HTH.

We went the last week of October last year and it was fantastic! Very low crowds...never waited more then 20 min and that was for TSMM!! The decorations are wonderful. The weather was about 80 degrees every day. I would, however leave before Halloween day. But thats the time of year I recomend. OH and be sure to check for special events going on, I believe Gay Days is that month along with a big convention.

My friend and I went in mid-September for my birthday this year and it was great. Really nice weather and low crowds.
However, our children didn't go with us as we could not take them out of school that early in the school year.
May, before Memorial weekend is really nice and I love the spring flowers. We went last May and are going again this May.
We once went in October and the weather was really nice too. We loved the fall decorations in the park, Nightmare Before Christmas layover of the Haunted Mansion and we really enjoyed the Halloween event.:)

yay! i'm glad to see that september is a recommended month! i'm hoping to fit it one more trip with our APs....looking at the 3rd or 4th week of september! we went last october and it was still HOT...and crowded (probably because of the columbus day weekend).
