When is the earliest I can book?

I know it is absolute craziness that I am already obsessed with our next Disney trip, which isn't until August 2007- yes, 7!! I think I've convinced my dh to do a plit stay, which took a lot of fast talking on my part. Anyway, what I plan to do is stay at a Moderate for three nights and get the dining, plan, then stay at an off-site resort for another 7 nights. We'll probably buy a 7 day park pass. I looked at prices at the Disney website and it said that they were only booking up until Dec 31st, 2006. Does anyone know how early I can book an August trip for next year?

Great question we are going in May 2007. I would like to know also. Do you know if you have to pay for the entire vacation up front? Before we all know it we will be there. Have a great time!!

Yes, you can book for 2007 now. Our trip isn't until May 31-June 8, 2007 and we booked "room only" about 6 weeks ago. The 2007 packages won't be released until late June or so. Our AAA agent will switch our "room only" reservation over to a package with dining once they are released.
As far as paying for the trip up front, the deposit was just equal to one nights stay for "room only" but when it's switched to a package the deposit is $200 with remaining balance due 45 days prior to trip.
