We are going on a cruise next March and I need to book flights. I usually book them as soon as I can but we are planning to do WDW for a few days after the cruise and I wanted to wait for a few months before booking flights to see if any discounts were going to be offered at WDW. I would then have a better idea how long we can stay after the cruise. If disney came out with the stay 4, get 3 free deal I would like to use it. :) I am afraid that if I wait too long I will end up with higher flights. Do you think I will get as good a deal if I wait for a few months or should I just book the flights next month.

What we've done in the past is book our vacation, and then wait about a month or two or even three before we leave to book the flight. We've had great luck finding good deals this way. Don't quote me on it, and I'm not recommending anything, this is just from our experience. I don't know what kind of flight you're looking for, how many people, what time of day, specific airlines, etc....ask a local travel agent perhaps!

I have also booked flights very early in the morning on Tuesday through Thursday.

I think it tends to go up from Friday to Monday, when families are basically home and planning their trips altogether.

I have watched the flights fluctuate between $30 and $60 dollars from one day to the next.

I booked my flight at 6:30 am when I got to work; e-mailed my friend and she logged on at lunchtime and the flight had gone up $30.00.

when I see a price I can live with I book it (SW only), then if it goes down I change it. If it goes up I just laugh:goodvibes
