I've searched the boards and there are so many different answers! :confused3

Is it part of the kids club? On sea days at studio sea? Requires a ticket?

We're on the aug 13 magic west coast - when will tea with wendy be???

Thanks so much! princess:

We didn't go to Tea with Wendy, but the family we shared a table with did go. On our West Coast cruise last week it was on Friday in Studio Sea. I believe she said that she arrranged it through Guest Services.

There are usually 2 seatings for this, and they do go quickly..Tickets are free, and are at Guest Services..I suggest you go right away to get them..

I believe they are done on Sea Days, and Yes, at Studio Sea.

It has Nothing to do with the kids clubs..

Also, it isn't the "best" DCL has to offer. Wendy was very good in telling her story, but it is very short and more of a photo opportunity than an experience. They serve ice tea (I believe) and had chocolate chip cookies. My kids ate the cookies as soon as they sat down (not knowing that they were for the "tea" event). After she told a 5 minute story about peter pan, Wendy spoke briefly about proper tea drinking (including eating the cookie my kids already ate!) and then lines formed to take a picture with her at her tea table. I'm just trying to set expectation - not to discourage anyone. The whole thing lasted I think around 15 minutes. Tickets don't last, so you want to get them when you get on board if it is important to you.

I was wondering this same thing. If you go look at the navigators that you can find online (I think from May 05), they show the Tea on sea day at 11:15 am. But if you look at the kids navigators, the tea is also listed for the 3-4 year olds on one of the earlier days. I was just guessing that they do both. My DD was 4 on our last curise and she loved the tea for the 3-4 year olds.

Will be interested to see anyone who knows for sure....

The tea for us on 7/9/05 Magic was on Monday and Friday - both sea days. The one posted about was not a part of the kids programs. My kids were in 5-7, so I'm not familiar w/the 3-4 year old. I'd like to know too as maybe the 3-4 one was better, and I will have a 3 year old next sailing!

Can anyone describe how long the event is and if there are many photo opportunities? :confused3

Adults can go - you can ask for tickets for other members in your party (I got tickets for my sister and her family). You can take photos throughout Wendy telling her 5 minute story, and then she sits down at a table after getting one child from the audience (I think it was 1). You can take some pictures then as she explains the tea time history. And then the kids line up (guess adults can too!) and they get to sit down at the table and you can take a picture of your child w/Wendy. They did not have a professional photographer when we went - I imagine they do sometimes as it would be a good opportunity for that. The whole thing lasted about 15-20 minutes.

Honestly, an hour maximum...Plenty of photo opportunities....Just long to wait for "your" child to sit with Wendy..Not my favorite, but hey...dd6 LOVED IT..
