When is Spring Break?

I'm wondering b/c I want to go away for my birthday in March and the airfare is just crazy!

What dates are considered Spring Break time?

It seems like once President's Day arrives in February airfare goes up and stays there until after Easter - at least this is what I have noticed in booking flights for family to come to FL -

I always thought it was around easter. When I was in college, my school had it so late that we ended up coming back for only a couple of weeks before school broke for summer. So I have no idea what is normal.

Thinking about a weekend trip to WDW. We have tickets left over from last trip so it ends up being a really cheap trip.

Good Friday is April 14 and Easter is April 16th 2006

I consider the months of March and April to be spring break. You're not going to get good deals during those times. My junior year of college our spring break started on February 28.

My spring break at ASU is the second week of March. Last year at Stonehill, it was the first week of March, and then we had another 5 days for easter.

I was looking for airfare to Hawaii, and we're leaving on March 8 - March 15. After the 15, airfare went up 50% from phoenix. So, we'll miss 2 days of class instead of paying double.

Pretty much all of March and April is spring break for someone.
I'm trying to get airfare to FLL or Miami for March 5-10 and am having a helluva time finding airfare.

Ours is around March 12th in Texas...

Our spring break this year is March 27th to the 31st. Last year it hit directly on Easter cause we were at WDW then. Planning on going back spring break 2007.
