When is Spring Break 2008

Can anyone tell me when Spring Break 2008 is going to be?

It depends on where you live? for K-12 schools. Here in NW Ohio we tend to go the week before Easter or the week after.

With Easter falling early in 2008, were off from 3/21/08(Good Friday)-3/28.

I think alot of the Northeastern schools take their break mid-April no matter when Easter is.

I went to college at Purdue University and our spring break was one of the early ones back then. We were off in the time range of 3/8-3/15, which used to be the week before Ohio State(one of my BF's went there and we usually got to see each other over the lapping weekend).

It will probably vary a lot next year since Easter is early and Passover is several weeks later. My kids are off April 7-11. My DSIL's kids are off the week after Easter. My friend's kids in upstate NY are off the week before Passover (April 14-18).

It all depends on your school district. Disney is busy anywhere from late Feb through mid April, typically. I know that in central FL, our spring break is the last week of March.

In NH winter break is the last week in February and spring break is the last week in April. MA and ME have the third week in February and the third week in April (we have relatives in both states and our kids school vacations are never the same). Colleges have their spring break the 2nd or 3rd week of March. We've found that from mid-February to the end of April you will always hit someone's vacation week.

We live in South Mississippi and our spring break here is March 17-21!
