I hate to toss it, but getting that feeling it might be time. How long is leftover turkey good for?

I just had the last of mine today for lunch. I don't think it would have lasted 'till tomorrow.

they said on the news to toss it or freeze it either yesterday or sunday (can't remember which).

Thank you! I worked Fri Sat & Sun 12 hour shifts, so I never even touched the leftovers. Sad! When I work nights I cant eat without nausea so I just have protein shakes. Glad I only got the 7lb turkey breast. At least df got to enjoy some leftovers.

In the future, pull all the meat off the turkey in 24 to 48 hours, put it in baggies and freeze it.

I ate some today and am having some tomorrow. 1 week is my personal cutoff

I will have some tomorrow than it get toss. I cooked my Sunday so I have time. I already cut the turkey and some in freeze bags for future use. The turkey was huge can feed us for several months.

I froze mine the day I cooked it. I always do any meat that way. cook, eat, maybe one or two leftover lunches and then frozen into small amounts for quick lunches and dinners.

I also freeze the drippings/broth I don't use that day, it's not actually the turkey that gets you in the leftovers it's the gravy, all the fat in the broth goes bad long before the meat.
