When is Free Dining announced?

We are a family of six (4 teens!) and will finally make our first trip to WDW next summer! I am beyond excited!
Can anyone tell me when the dates for Free Dining will be announced for 2009, if they offer it? We will only be able to afford to stay on-site if FD is offered, so all of our planning will hinge on this info!

Historically, the public offer is announced in the first week of April. The dates for the promotion are likely to be from the last week in August to mid-September.

If you are a Disney Visa holder you will hear about it and be able to get it a couple of days before if opens up to the public too!!

The free dining may also be offered to anyone staying when the 2008 free dining is going on. They did last year as a bounceback.
