when is daytona 500??

Does anybody know?? And does this really affect the crowds?

The Daytona 500 is on Sunday Feb. 20. Monday is Presidents day. However all the previous week has many races. It is call Speed Weeks. Hotels rooms are very hard to find over this weekend right down to Orlando and past. Yes crowds are larger over this weekend.

Thanks for the reply iluvflorida. We are actually going Feb 24-March 4, so I guess this won't affect us.
