When is April Vacation for most of you?

Here in New England ours is from April 20th-24th. Just wondering if the majority of you have it the same week. Trying to figure out just how busy it's going to be!

We don't get out in April. Our spring break is in March each year. Most schools in our area are also out in March.

For us in RI, it is April 10 (Good Friday) - 17th. NY is pretty much the same as us and about 1/2 of CT the best I can figure.

By New England, do you mean Massachusetts? New Hampshire (most) is April 27 - May 1. We are leaving the 23rd for Disney this year. We enjoy following Mass vacation. Less crowds and usually cheaper airfares.

My son's school district (in NJ) has off the week of April 6-10 2009.

The only time we get off Jan.-May is the 3 days around Easter.....Thurs. & Fri. before, & Easter Monday.

Oh, I almost forgot, w/in that 5 month period, we do get off 1 day for M.L.K. b-day, & one day for Presidents' Day. THAT'S IT!

We are in MA so we have the same dates. Our family has been going to WDW for April vacation for many years and we always have a good time. The weather is gorgeous and the Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom (literally) at EPCOT. As long as it doesn't coincide with Easter the crowds aren't so bad. It certainly won't be empty, but it won't be wall-to-wall people either.

One thing we do is travel sun- mon to get a small break on airfare and to cut back on the airport crowds leaving Orlando going home.

You're right. both of my kids have 4/10 through 4/17 for vacation. Actually, both my kids also have 4/9 off for inservice days so they'll be out of school from 4/9 through 4/29 except for 4/20 when I'm making them both go. Mostly to get out of my way while I pack for the trip. I figured there would be more folks on break mid april than later which is why we decided to leave the 21st. I hope I don't encounter ridiculous crowds.

I'm in Somerset County, NJ and our district has it from April 6-13, while in the district in the next town they have it starting April 10-17 - so it varies by district.
