When is a good time to go to WDW in 2017 that is during a cool temp. time?

We homeschool so time off doesn't matter. It needs to be during a time that is cool because of health problems. Then, crowds would be the next factor. The last factor would be that I am not sure when anything new is opening up. I have been out of the loop for what seems like FOREVER. We haven't been to WDW in 3 years due to health problems. So I just don't want to miss something that is opening up soon.

Kids will be 9 & 5 next year if that matters.

You're basically stuck with January to mid-Feb and mid-November to December. Christmas time (Dec 20th or later) is insane for crowds. Pandora stuff will be opening at AK in 2017 so if you want to wait for that you'll want to wait until November or December. Also, if you go then the Christmas decorations will be up.

January to mid February but avoiding Presidents weekends and other holidays when locals have time off from school. Late November to December is not bad, but this past Christmas day it was 80 degrees. Not super hot, but definitely not cool like January to February.

For a crowds/temp combo, I would go with first week of December or first week of February. The last time I went in Feb, I wore gloves (and I'm a Northerner!).

The big issue is that there are usually lots of refurbs in January and February so you'll likely get a better experience in December.
