When in port???

Does anything aboard ship shut down and stop operating or are the very same activites available even when you are at your port of call???

The shipboard stores are closed while in port. (so as not to compete with the local merchants) other than that most things run the same. All the restaurants are open, the pools, kids club, spa etc.
