. . . Palo reservations? Port Adventures? Spa days? I'm a first-time cruiser who's rarin' and ready to go at 11:00 p.m. CST to make her reservations. But what are the A-number-1-with-a-silver-bullet priorities? Where should I head first?

UPDATED TO ADD DETAILS: We're sailing on the 7-night Western Caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy (Itinerary C: Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Castaway Cay). The ship sails on August 22 and returns August 29. This is our first cruise, so I have had to wait until 75 days out to make my reservations.

We'd like to be able to do Palo and Remy, and some Port Adventures. I'm interested in the day pass for the spa. My son would probably also be interested in spending some time at the kids' club, too. We will be on the hunt for characters, and will likely get tickets for the princess and Anna/Elsa meetups.

Depends on the cruise and your Castaway Club status and what you want, yes Palo brunch, a cabana if you want one, port adventures, anything with animals, dolphins, golf, go fast. Europe all sightseeing does go fast. Alaska helicopters go fast, its where they have limited availability.

Remy can go fast, and Spa in particular on sea day formal night.

I think I would ask people on your cruise meets what is outstanding, and go for

Palo brunch.
Shore trips.
Palo dinner
Spa.

Thanks for the response! I've edited my original post to add the details of my particular situation. I'll have to come back later and add which Port Adventures I have my eye on, 'cause I'm going to be late for a rehearsal (oh, the siren call of Disboards . . .!).

Yes I saw your post change as I typed.

Palo brunches go fast since they are only on sea days, so if you want that get that first. If you want the earliest possible port arrival time, get that next (or first if not doing palo brunch). Then spa services if you want them for sea days. The Palo and Remy dinners & Remy brunch can come next. I think you get princess tickets once onboard. If you want rainforest room passes you can prepurchase them, but they are not for specific days.
