When have packages with free dining offered historically come out?

I'm thinking that maybe just hubby and I will go. We could leave the three kids behind and get there in one day, stay for four full days (five nights probably) and be back and they would never miss us! Aren't I cruel??:thumbsup2 I could probably get him to go if there was a big discount like the free dining!

Also what time of year is it for? (in past years) Is it better to go ahead and book a room now and hope for the best?

Thanks!:dance3:

From the past free dining was offered by June for 2005 and I believe April for last year 2006. Personally I would book a room now and when and IF it comes up I would have the free dining added to my rack rates of my room along with the minimum amount that is needed in park tickets. Overall it's a great deal. I'm still praying that it will come out too even though I was one of the lucky ones who was able to use the 40 % off rooms as a back up.

Yes, but if everyone does this, the occupancy level will be high enough (especially with the UK/Bounceback Offer) that they may not feel the need to offer free DDP to the general public. Only do it if you would still go even if free DDP wasn't offered.

Yes this is also true. But for me personally I needed a backup incase Disney didn't offer the DDP again free. If there is no good deal...hubby wont let us go. When we go we stay other places in Florida too after Disney is done. It's our relaxation on the ocean. This year we are going to the Keys for a week. The hotel alone was almost the same total as my whole Disney package. Anyways...lets all hope that they still come out with it cause it would still save me around $400.00.:thumbsup2

You are the Camping GRISWALDS so if you are anything like your TV/Movie cohorts simply expect everything to go very wrong and work out great in the end......sort of. Just don't let your husband do the trip planning, WDW may be closed when you arrive.
