When EXACTLY do you think the Christmas parade will be taped?

So far, I think I would like to avoid the taping of the Christmas parade. I was in the MK last year when it was being taped, and the park was mobbed.

Do they tape this parade over a period of a couple of days? So far, I think it will be filmed both Saturday and Sunday, the 3rd and 4th of Dec.

Am I correct?

You are correct. But don't forget about the Friday before the Saturday and Sunday. If I remember right they were doing some things there. But we arrived on that Saturday. I read about the Friday. Needless to say we didn't touch MK until that Tuesday.

Thanks. I'm not even sure what my schedule will be seeing that those extra magic hours are NOT out yet. I would like to avoid the crowds for the Christmas Parade taping.

They do filming on that Friday also.

In 2003 they filmed the Christmas parade that whole first weekend in December. They were also filming musical performances on the steps of the castle the following Saturday that aired during the Christmas Parade. We saw them taping Enrique Iglesias. I would expect the first two weekends in December to have filming going on for the Christmas Parade and show. Both weekends were crowded in the MK when we were there.

Do they tape these during regular park hours or only during MVMCP? We were planning on being there Dec 4th - thats the only day we can.

Does anyone know of who may be performing those days??

Don't forget that parts of the parade are taped whenever they can get "the stars" to be in the park -- which may not necessarily be anytime in December.

There were some photos shown on this board a number of months ago of the Christmas parade section featuring the "Wiggles" being taped. It was October or November. Parts of Fantasyland were decorated for Christmas for the taping -- the Wiggles were taped in the parade and the decorations were removed.
