When Does Your School have Spring Break???

I'm in WI, and in my area, the colleges break March 20-24, while the public schools seem to break beginning Good Friday and the week following easter.

Our school district in Miami has spring break from March 21 - 28. My sister who is in grad school down here too has her spring break on March 11-18.

I am also hoping that Spring Break doesnt affect the crowds too much when I go for a long weekend March 10-13.

I live in Southwest Virginia and my kids are out March 28th thru April 1st. Cant wait to sleep in for a week!!

The college here in town Spring Break is March 12-20. Most of the school districts are taking Good Friday and the week after Easter.

DS goes to a school on the Year-round calendar. They are out Mar 5-27. Yep, that's three weeks.

We are normally off for a week at Easter. However, our school district with a handful of others around our area (Buffalo NY--WNY) are off the week of April 17th. It's gotta be somewhat popular time to go around here because we just decided in the last few days to go to Disney for that week. Airfare, which is usually under $100 pp/RT, is looking almost double that and many flights are booked. On the flip side, I just started looking for a condo in the last 24 hours since my parents are going to join us for several days, and I'm having no problem w/ availability or low rates.

We have the third full week of March....this year it is the week before Easter.

School here is out the first week of April. We're going to WDW March 31-April 9. We are so excited!!!

We are scheduled to go in June, but may now go in April, the 8th -14th, my daughter has two teacher inservice days then, her spring break is March 7th-11th. Has anyone heard of any schools with spring break during April 8th - 14th? I don't really want to take her out of school, if it will be just as crowded in April as in June!

All public schools in Oregon seem to go by the first full week after March 20. (like a literal Spring Break- breaking on the 1st day Spring starts). This year the break is the week before Easter, which is nice. It often does not correlate at all with Easter.

In Southern Jersey and where Igrew up in PA our spring break was always centered around Easter. Not so in college however.

I'm really glad to hear about all the spring breaks in march and late April as we're leaving on the 7th of April for a land/sea vacation....
