I thought I saw somewhere that it was reopening on April 6th.
I just saw a post that said April 26? I leave tomorrow and this is one of my favorites at Epcot. Will it be open? :confused3

Anyone know the official reopening date?

Unfortunately you're outta luck. From the allearsnet newsletter I got by email today - "The Land pavilion, which was supposed to open at the end of March, will remain closed through April." Sorry.

They have also pushed back the re-opening of the Garden Grill
restaurant until early July (July 7 rings a bell for some reason.)

I'm just hoping the entire pavalion is rolling when we go in early
August, it is one our family favorites. pirate:

I'm sure this has been gone over before, but I'm a newbie (obviously) and was wondering- what did Soarin take the place of? I know that the food court is going to be no longer, but did they get rid of the Land ride and the Circle of Life? The Land was one of my favorite rides ever, and after the loss of Horizons I don't know if I can take any more!!!!

They closed "Food Rocks" to put in "Soarin". The boat ride, listen to the land, and the lion King Enviromental film will still be there when it reopens along with The Garden Grill Restaurant.
I don't know the fate of the food court.
The Land is my favorite pavillion, I hope it doesn't change in the way Journey to imagination changed, imagination is now only half of what it used to be. :guilty:

I was a big horizon fan also, I was sad to see it go.
I miss the Epcot of 10 years ago :sad1:

The good news is i leave in 8 hours
The bad news is no land Pavillion, oh well I can still sing the song as I walk by tomorrow. :rolleyes1

"Listen to the land, Oh Oh, Listen to the land" :rolleyes1

Figment- you're awesome, thanks for the thread link! :goodvibes

Soarin didn't replace anything. It is in a building behind the Land. Some things in the Land were removed for the entrance to Soarin.
