When does the 2016 Calendar dates become available?

We have been to Disney world many times and have always stayed off site, for 2016 (Jan/Fen) we will be going again but we want to stay onsite. When are the resort bookings open for that far inadvance?

The 2016 prices won't be released until early summer. But you can book a room as early as 500 days ahead of time. The price won't be guaranteed until they are released next year.

I think the prices/availability for 2015 came out 7/31. I was planning a trip in late January and it was killing me not being able to do much planning. But if you get up the patience to talk to someone, you can get an idea at least!

I just booked our room reservation this past weekend for 2/27-3/5 2016, and that was the farthest out we could make it; ended up being 469 days. We could not make it a package yet, just room only for now. Rack rate for the room we reserved at CR went up $25 from the same week in 2015. Hope this helps.

They charge the highest rate for the current year as a temporary rate. When the 2016 rates come out, it will be adjusted.

Sorry for bumping this but when would you all suggest booking an early February 2016 trip? For our last trip it was a little spur of the moment, my husband called me in September and told me to book it. At that point we were already past the furthest out you can book dining and we weren't thinking about discounts at all. Just wondering what is typical for those planning our far in advance?
