When does school let out for the summer in FL?

Was I nuts to plan our trip/cruise for the last weekend of May? It's my son's birthday. Please don't tell me this is the busiest weekend of the year!!

I did this last year because I thought it would be less crowded due to lots of schools still being in session. Boy was I wrong! It was waaaaaaaaaaay crowded and HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!! I think the whole state of Texas was there.

Well, I don't have much choice over my son's birthday so I guess we'll just have to "suck it up". We'll be on the ship on Sunday anyhow and there is pretty good "crowd control" there!

May 27th is the last day of school for Orlando students.

May 25th is the last day of school for Kissimmee.

I think our last day in Clermont (Lake county) is May 25th.
