When does new day become available for restaurant ADRs?

Does anyone know if there is a time that the next day becomes available for making ADRs? For example. Today is October 14th and the last day I can make an ADR is currently December 13th. At what time tomorrow morning will December 14th ADRs show up as available? Do they typically show up prior to when you could call in for an ADR?

TIA

In all honesty, getting ADRS for DLR isn't quite like it is at WDW where being on the system right when it changes over is critical to getting prime/popular ADRs. That being said, I did look once and it seemed like the online system rolled somewhere between midnight and 2:00 am.

Thanks Figment. I'm definitely an obsessed over-planner. I like everything to be done and paid for prior to arriving, if possible.

We aren't even thinking about Blue Bayou this time, which I'm guessing is one that sometimes books quickly (for water-side first seating). We're going to just go with Cafe Orleans this time so I can get the Monte Cristo. The other we're looking at is Goofy's Kitchen on the day we leave. Not sure we'll even do any others, although I like the looks of Cathey and a few others, I have some very picky eaters in my group.

The Blue Bayou does book up, but even that one often has tables available with less than a week to go. For example, a 11:30 am reservation is available for tomorrow! I generally wouldn't wait until that close, but I also don't think it makes a huge difference whether you're online at midnight or noon on the 60-day mark for any ADR (except perhaps a special event/limited engagement opportunity).

That being said, if you know you want to eat somewhere at a specific time, I would make an ADR. I have been in the parks when they were turning away walk-up guests, so it's still best to have an ADR.

Part of this wanting ADRs is when we'll be there, between Christmas and New Year's. I've gotten so used to WDW and needing ADRs or you're going to have to go with CS.

Oh, I would definitely make ADRs during that period. The parks are likely to be busy and getting a TS walk-up might be difficult, so I would make ADRs. My point was just that they probably aren't going to all be taken on the 60-day mark, so you don't have to stay up until midnight or 2:00 am. I know what you mean about being a planner; I do stay up until 3:00 am to make my WDW ADRs on the 180 day mark. I just don't do that for DLR! :rotfl:

I checked right after midnight early this morning (10/14). While the calendar let me click on December 13th, the pull down menu to pick "time" said "no times available" or something to that effect. No idea when it went completely live, but had no issues getting the reservations I wanted at 7:30 this morning.

I wish I knew too. I had a heck of a time making a PS this morning. It would show what I wanted as available and then on the final screen, I'd get an error/please call message. After watching my time disappear and increase in 10 minute increments, I was finally able to nab my reservation at about 7:15 am MST. :hyper:
