You would think I would know this but if my stay begins on August 15th does my FP window open tonight after midnight or tomorrow night after midnight? I don't want to stay up late for nothing and I don't want to miss it. I'm thinking since there are 30 days in June and 31 in July that I stay up past midnight on July 15th and book just after it turns into the 16th?

TIA!

Your FP+ window opens 60 exact days before the day you check into your resort. You can use this "Days From Date" tool to make those calculations:

http://www.convertunits.com/dates/daysfromdate/

It says that June 14th is 60 days from August 15th, so your FP window should be open now.

If it says that June 14th is 60 days from August 15th, then it's off by 2 days - June 16th is 60 days from August 15th.

ETA: I'm curious as to how you got it to come up with June 14th - I got it to come up June 16th.

Agree. Im doing FP for a start date of Aug 15 too. My MDE has today as 62 days to go which would mean come Friday morning it will say 60, go time! At 7am online.

Apparently that website isn't working, at least on my iPad. I'll update my post.

Thanks to all! I don't know why I thought it was after midnight. (Though for me it would be easier after midnight since I have to get to work too early to make FPs at 7 a.m.

Cool. I haven't been on MDE for about a month so I didn't even think to look there. I have to coordinate with my sis. We just switched from non-hoppers to hoppers and I'm sure that will change a lot of how we handle things. I'm grateful to have tomorrow to think things through. :thumbsup2

Did they change the fastpass window? Last summer I made mine at 1am the day it opened. I was ready at midnight and it wouldn't let me, I kept refereshing wvery 10 minutes or so and almost gave up then 1am and I started making them

It's been 7:00a for some time now, I believe at least a year.

Our stay starts August 14th and I was planning on making fast passes tonight sometime after midnight.
Also, we are doing a split stay, never done one before, transferring to Saratoga Springs the 22nd and staying to the 29th, will we be able to make fastpasses for our whole vacation or do we have to make the second set 60 days out from Saratoga start date?

Huh, I know for sure I did mine late at night because I had to work early the next day. It would have been in May of last year since we started in mid to late July last year
We have been going every summer for awhile now so I guess it's possible I'm remembering from the year before... my wife tells me I have a bad memory all the time... then I forget she said anything

You may find the Split Stay post in the FP FAQ helpful.

Thanks, my memory is not as bad as I thought, we probably made them just before the cutoff last year.
I like midnight much better. I have to be at work too early to make 7am fastpass plans. With the midnight time I lost some sleep but had time to really work it out the way I wanted them initially at least. I made lots of tweaks in the weeks leading up the our vacation

Thanks I read through it when we first decided to do a split but it was a lot of info, I'll have to go through it again

Can't tell from your post if you're doing offsite then onsite or both onsite, that's one reason I didn't just answer your question. The different combinations have different effects. All of them are explained there.

Yes we are doing onsite to onsite, ASM to SSR.
We are there for our 10 year anniversary and we did SSR on our honeymoon but couldn't swing 15 straight nights at SSR.
The only value we have done is Pop,several times and we loved it but wanted to try something different this year

Then I think your entire window opens 60 days before your first stay. Honestly it's been a while since I thought about it.
