When does MVMCP start?

Ive never been around Christmas time but I think Id like to go next year, I think instead of doing Christmas presents the kids and I will go. When do they put up the Christmas decorations and when do the MVMCP start? Also normally how much are the tickets. Also does Epcot do anything special during the Christmas season?

Oh also do you have to buy regular tickets as well as MCVMCP tickets if I want to go to Epcot decorations and MGM to see the Osborne lights? Or how does that work??
