When does it change from halloween to christmas

Hi
I love idea of being able to see both decorations is this poss cx

The last Halloween Party is on 2 Nov 12 and the first Christmas Party is on 9 Nov 12. We're there across both those dates so I'm hoping we'll see at least something of both sets of decorations. The Osborne lights also start on 9 Nov 12.

I had previously thought the Christmas decorations didn't go up until after/around Thanksgiving but if there's a Christmas Party then surely the Magic Kingdom will need to be decorated for that?

according to mousesavers, christmas decorations begin to appear from november 1st to be fully installed by the time the first MVMCP takes place.

let's cross fingers and hope
we'll be there too and leaving WDW on the 9th of november (gutted, lol)

Looks like we might be able to see the christmas trees, I guess they'll start re-theming MK starting during the night of the 3rd nov.
We might have a nice surprise on the 4th (educated guesstimate)

Historically the lights have gone up in DHS in mid-October but obviously aren't switched on yet. Their Christmas tree went up about the 1st November a couple of years ago.

AK was about the same time. Some countries in EpCOT were putting up their individual lights and decorations first weekend in November but not all.

Never seen the MK tree but always come back by about 6t November.

The gingerbread house at GF is usually started on 1st November and usually opens about the 12th.

Decorating WDW starts after Halloween and is completed by Thanksgiving.

MK will be dressed except for its tree (that doesnt go up until after the parade taping in early Dec) by the 9th along with the studios.

It takes 3 or 4 weeks for them to do everything :goodvibes

As we going mid Dec this year I am really looking forward to seeing all the holiday decorations in place and candlelight processional :thumbsup2 We saw Osbourne lights & MVMCP in Nov 2010 and they were great.
