Don't know if that's the right term, but I'm helping a friend plan and they would like to keep costs and crowds lower than the crazy Christmas season, does anyone know the dates when it is not the most expensive season? TIA!

It's all peak season these days!! :lmao:

seriously, January & February (non holiday weekend) or September after labor day. Early-mid may is also pretty nice, but with WOC opening April 24 it will be crowded then too.

Generally early in the year (2nd week of Jan through 2nd week of March -- avoiding MLK weekend and Pres Day week), and then after Labor Day you will find some discounts offered on resort hotels. DLR has also historically had a parkhopper special from Jan-April each year (like 5 days for the price of 3).

Yep, that's about it.

There is no more off season, but through my experiance, the slowest times of the year include JAN and FEB, just like the PP's said, and also early May. If you go in the beginning of May, you miss the spring break crowds and beat the summer crowds.

I would imagine that room rates will be more resonable during this time.
