Be careful!!! You may not know what you are getting yourself into.
Two years ago we were scheduled to stay at CBR for our 9 day trip. I did a lot of search on this board and thought maybe the HIFS would be better suited for my families needs (2 children), plus we were driving so we had our own car. When the 2 for 1 special came out (we went end of Oct/beg. of Nov), I decided I was going to move from CBR to HIFS (we travel to WDW approx. once a year). I saved a few hundred dollars (maybe more) and booked the family suite.
When we walked into the room, we LOVED it!! But as I said, be warned.... it does spoil you!
Although we have always travelled with our two children, on cruises, WDW, etc. we have always stayed in one room (with the exception of going to the shore in the summer), never thought much about getting two rooms and just dealt with it. But, after the HIFS, the kids having their own room, bed, own tv, a seperate small living area and us having our own bedroom, tv, we were hooked. We were in WDW last Aug. and stayed at the BC (my mom took us). We loved it and I would stay there in a minute again, but we all stayed in one room, although having connecting with my mom, we felt we had more space.
We just came back from a cruise and had to get connecting rooms so the kids could have their own room/bathroom and give us some space and privacy and just rebooked another cruise for next April, again, with two rooms.
I would do as the other poster said, book now to get the style room you want and keep your eyes open for the 2 for 1 special. When you see it, call the hotel and have it applied to your stay. Have fun.
