When does the free dining plan end? The reason I ask is that there's a real increase in the number of ADRs (understandably), so getting in to a table-serve resturaunt without an ADR is harder than it used to be. I'm going to WDW in late November and haven't made any ADRs yet. If the free dining plan is going to be still offered, I'd better hurry up and make ADRs. If not, I'll be more likely to be able to get in to a resturaunt without ADRs (I won't be using the dining plan). Does it end before then or go til the end of the year?

Yep, it ends on 10/4, but you have to check in by that date and can be on the free plan for 10 days after that. So technically the free diners (like me! ) will be out of there on 10/15. Jennifer

The beginning of October (the 4th?), I believe, is when free dining ends. We are going to DW the middle of November and I have my ADR's made. I have probably called 5 or 6 times and changed them around or cancelled some of them and I've had absolutely no problems switching them around. Now, if you are going around Thanksgiving, I would think the crowd level would be a little higher. In any case, if I were you, I would still make ADR's for the most important or hard to get restaurants, just in case.

Good luck!!!

you have to check in on or by Oct 4.

That is what we are doing we just got in on the last day. We will be arriving on Oct 4 thru the 13th.

The free dining offer will be long over when you arrive, however with the holiday season starting (CP and bigger crowds generally) and many people taking advantage of the dining plan (paying for it of course), you will definitely want to make ADRs for the more popular locations.

I have reservations for the first week of December, traditionally one of the lightest attendance weeks of the year.

I made my ADR's as soon as possible. When I called back a week later with some potential changes, they said all times at Le Cellier were taken.

Not all times I wanted, ALL TIMES. :scared1:

Admittedly, we have a party of eight, but I was still surprised.

I think dining has become very popular regardless of when you go.
