We are at the world 7th to 28th Oct. I Hope free dinning has finished then, as alot of people say its VERY crowded.

Thanks

You have to have checked in by 9/30 to receive the free dining. :)

I suppose it's possible there could still be a few stragglers if someone booked over a week's stay, but the free dining people should be pretty much gone by then.

We are checking in on September 20th but will not check out until October 10th so we will still be chomping at the bit. :rotfl:

The way I figure it there is ALWAYS something no matter what time of year you go.

If we can suffer the heat you will just have to put up with US!! (just kidding you) :)

You got that right, I tried to book when there would be nothing, nada, zip, zilch. So I put us between MNSSHP and MVMCP. I knew Food and Wine, but that's no big deal to me crowdwise and I like the extra treats.

What did we end up with? Jersey Week and Soap Opera Weekend. :lmao:

I wish, for all of us obsessive planners, WDW would release their calendar / event dates 1 year at a time then LEAVE THEM ALONE!

Throw us a bone & let those of us who try to find the right time make their plans without any surprises!

Yep, that is me, a straggler!! I purposely made my ressies for as late as I possibly could. If I could have booked the entire 20 days starting Sept 20th, I would have. :thumbsup2

BlindTyldak, just avoid MGM on Soap Opera weekend and that will help. Of course, I have heard that is a good time to go as all the fans will be standing in line for autographs and such and the rides will be no wait. I have been during Jersey Week too and never had a problem either. My very favorite time is right after Thanksgiving as most people who want to go that time of year want to be there for either Thanksgiving or Christmas but very few people can stay long enough for both so that time period is very slow, as am I. :rotfl2:

I'm a straggler! I check in on September 29 with ten nights of free dining.

Yup. Me too what Redwitch said.

I think you'll find it busy through Columbus day weekend, then it will taper off.

But the weekend is busier with people that will be coming in after the free dining check in date than with before. It's just plain busy.

I guess if you do the math, it looks like the free diners will be finishing up on Oct. 10th. That would be the checkout date for anyone booking the package on Sept. 30 for 10 days (limit). Of course that runs right through Colombus Day weekend, again the busiest time of October. Hopefully anyone going during Colombus Day weekend better have their ADRs.

LindyLoo, did I read that right? You are spending 3 weeks at Disney!:earseek:
