When does Disneyland have the best and most magical atmosphere?

I have been twice. I have been at Christmas time and in April when it was particularly quite hot, humid and sunny. The skies were clear and blue. Since my April visit, I can't help but feel the park is 100% nicer in the sun. The light of the sun hides any flaws and makes the place appear brighter and more colouful, the way Disneyland should be. It made me feel, particularly on Main Street really REALLY like I was in America which is the point right? It was lovely, making it feel more magical and convincing me to never go in the cold again. However that being said, there is something beautiful and magical about Christmas time too. The decorations are lovely and the Christmas music is too. The wet and damp does, for me, take away from it slightly but then sometimes I think "actually no, it makes it even more magical anf beautiful." It's so hard to decide and I guess there are pros and cons to all seasons. What's your opinion?

Also if you disagree and think the park is as magical and atmospheric all year round, whatever the weather, then please do say! If so, then when is your favourite time to go and why? Does weather not bother you at all? Please do go into detail :)

BASICALLY I'M JUST ASKING OVERALL WHICH TIME OF YEAR IS THE PINACLE OF EXPERIENCE?

I think you are lucky to go and get sun. You could go the same time next year and have bad weather :/ I agree it looks lovely in the glorious sun but to me nothing beats Disneyland Paris at Christmas and we will only return in the Christmas period from now on.

I've learnt my lesson with that one! First time we went in March it was gloriously sunny, fast forward 12months and it was freezing cold!

We've also done a trip in June where it rained every day! Because of that, we now base our trips on when we can get the best deal and/or a 'season'.

I went weekend before Christmas at it was so busy. Didn't enjoy the atmosphere because of the crowds.

I like March when its quiet. I had sleet and lovely sun in March.

We've done April (wet but mild), February (freezing, never again!), last week of May (really hot) and the week before Christmas (heavy snow) - loved every time, wouldn't go in winter again apart from Christmas as it is too cold for all the time you spend outdoors. Favourite? That's difficult. Christmas in the snow was wonderful and the most magical but the journey (by car) terrifying, lack of crowd on day 1 because of the weather was fabulous. May was great for relaxing and people watching and the photos with clear blue skies are amazing. We're doing August this year - methinks it could be very hot. I'd take any time of year though!

I think my favourite time of year is the summer because of the long evenings - and on the whole we've always had good weather. Also been at Halloween which was great fun and Christmas which was extremely magical. To be honest, I'm happy to go ANY time! :goodvibes
