When do you think the best time of your life is/was?

the best time of my life is still ahead of me, it's pretty depressing to think it has already happened.

If I thought high school was the high point of my life, I would have probably killed myself by now.
Me too. Now, I said HS & college have been the high points, but I do expect it to get at least that exciting again, if not better.

Kyle, CP was a part of my best time too. It was during my 2nd year of college.

My happiest time was the first couple of years we were married. This involved some time for DH & I alone, my first pregnancy and the birth of our first son. :D

I've had lots of fun at different times in my life, but I'm hoping the future has even more.

As I look back on my life (when your in your 50's there's a lot of life to look back on) Each stage was special in it's own.

Being a child and not having a care in the world...Attending HS in a small town where you knew everyone 9-12 and there was always fun things to do. The innocents of those years will always hold a special place in my heart...

While I never had the experience of college, I married right out of HS. Yes, I always admired those who went on to make something of their lives. I've never regretted the decisions of my life for a minute. I started my family at a very young age. I attended some night classes, but I have to say raising my family was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life....

I am now into the stage of being a Grandma and loving every minute of it. They are so much a part of my daily life. I'm a crafty person and we have craft days for each Holiday. I've had to set up an extra table because It's not just my Grandchildren any more it's their friends too...

The best part of my life has been spent with my DH. Having almost lost him twice I realize he is so much a part of my life. They say you grow to be one. How true that is. We may have our own thoughts on things, and we are as different as night and day, yet we are the same and I think it's called "True Love"

I guess when you look at the overall stages of life each one is what you make it.

I would have to say 2 times. "Now" is wonderful-I'm a SAHM whose children are in school and somewhat independent. I volunteer at school and sub on occasion. DH is secure in his job and makes a good living. We enjoy family time and "our" time now. Also, college was a wonderful time when I met DH. We have lots of good memories:D .

You know what, even with my separation from Thom and my worries about my dad, I'd still have to say that living on my own and close to school and feeling like an independent adult has to make this the best time of my life so far.

I've enjoyed many phases of my life, but hands-down, the best years have been these past 6, since I became a mother.

This question has really made me think. I have enjoyed all the different phases of my life. The college years were lots of fun and I learned so much about myself. It was also fun not to have any financial responsibilities (well, not very many anyway.)

I have to say though - I have never been as happy as I am now. I have been married just under a year, and I am madly in love with my DH. We are looking forward to starting a family and are making a cross country move at the end of the month. We are going to be building a new home. I am just having so much fun, and our careers and going really well.
