As I look back on my life (when your in your 50's there's a lot of life to look back on) Each stage was special in it's own.
Being a child and not having a care in the world...Attending HS in a small town where you knew everyone 9-12 and there was always fun things to do. The innocents of those years will always hold a special place in my heart...
While I never had the experience of college, I married right out of HS. Yes, I always admired those who went on to make something of their lives. I've never regretted the decisions of my life for a minute. I started my family at a very young age. I attended some night classes, but I have to say raising my family was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life....
I am now into the stage of being a Grandma and loving every minute of it. They are so much a part of my daily life. I'm a crafty person and we have craft days for each Holiday. I've had to set up an extra table because It's not just my Grandchildren any more it's their friends too...
The best part of my life has been spent with my DH. Having almost lost him twice I realize he is so much a part of my life. They say you grow to be one. How true that is. We may have our own thoughts on things, and we are as different as night and day, yet we are the same and I think it's called "True Love"
I guess when you look at the overall stages of life each one is what you make it.
